... I have tried the Manduka Mat, a yoga rug, a Gaiam mat, and a $2.00 mat from TJ Maxx. This Harmony mat is the best BY FAR! I love yoga. I practice every day. I sweat profusely. This mat DOES NOT SLIP. It is fantastic! The Manduka Black Mat slipped so badly it was distracting to my practice. You will not have this problem with this mat. The extra thickness is an added bonus for me. It may take some time to adjust to the thickness in balancing poses, but it's good to challenge yourself. Worth every penny! I promise!
P.S. It does smell a bit like tires, but the non-slippage and comfort outweighs the smell. ...
