... At my studio (well at one of them anyway) there are two types of Mexican yoga blankets; one is very soft and springy and the other is extremely dense and heavy. I'd say this blanket strikes a happy medium. It definitely has a good weight to it which I like for poses like Sarvangasana but it's not so stiff that it's difficult to fold up into a narrow strip. I got the red color and the pattern is different than the image here but whatever, it looks good. I'm happy with my purchase. ...
