... I have an old Tapas Mat by Hugger Mugger that was perfect right out of the box. I've used it so much that it has clear brown spots at the hands and feet that go all the way through. Gross, I know. So I thought it's time to get a new mat. Why not go with what I know works. Unfortunately, something has changed. The mat is dangerously slippery. I've washed it several times in several different ways (soap and water, washing machine, vinegar), but I can't get rid of the oily slickness. It's useless.
